Spooky Season is upon us, as evidenced by the beautiful photos featuring Immune Solution products in a northern forest.
After a hike in the woods and a big appetite, what better way to celebrate autumn than with tasty recipes that are hearty, filling, and healthy? We created feel-good recipes for cookies, cake, and pancakes, all of which are healthy and tasty, and all of which include Immune Solution’s Organic Pumpkin Seed Protein Powder (with Superfoods!)
What makes these recipes even better is that our pumpkin seed protein powder contains specific peptides that offer immense health benefits, including antioxidant, anti-diabetic, and blood pressure-regulating (anti-hypertensive) properties. In fact, pumpkin seeds are currently being discussed as the best source of vegan peptides on the market today!

What Does the Science Say About Peptides in Pumpkin Seeds?
We have read study after study, and the evidence is incontrovertible. Science shows that proteins in pumpkin seeds break down into short bioactive peptides, small chains of amino acids that offer strong antioxidant, blood pressure, and blood sugar benefits.[1]
Pumpkin Seeds and Peptides
When it comes to the health benefits of pumpkin seed peptides, it comes down to the following:
Bioactivity: When enzymes digest or process pumpkin seed proteins, they release small chains of amino acids (peptides) that actively promote health.
Metabolic Support: Research suggests these peptides may help manage blood sugar by inhibiting enzymes linked to diabetes and lowering blood pressure.
Muscle Health: Studies show that bioactive peptides from pumpkin seed protein can help combat age-related muscle loss and support muscle mass retention and growth.
Protein Source: Pumpkin seeds are an excellent source of plant-based protein and nutrients like magnesium and zinc.
In addition to being a great source of protein and peptides, pumpkin seeds can also result in the following health benefits:
Better Sleep: Pumpkin seeds contain tryptophan, an amino acid that converts into melatonin and serotonin to improve sleep quality.
Health Support: They are rich in magnesium and healthy fats, which help keep blood pressure steady and lower bad cholesterol.
Hormonal Health: The high levels of zinc and antioxidants in peptides support immune function and may boost prostate and bladder health in aging men.

Three Amazing and Tasty Pumpkin Seed Protein Recipes that Maximize Peptide Bioavailability
If you don’t want to damage your skin, experience pain, or face the other harms and risks associated with injecting peptides, you can cook or bake peptide-rich pumpkin seed protein powder into your food and consume it that way!
We have three recipes that are perfect for the autumn season, and they are also healthy and tasty. These are:
- Pumpkin Spice, Protein-Packed, and Peptide-Rich Cookies
- Pumpkin Seed Protein Cake with Peptides
- Pumpkin Seed Pancakes Full of Peptides

Guilt-Free Cinnamon Chip Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal Cookies with Peptides
Recipe yields 16 cookies.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats or 1 cup oat flour
1/4 cup Immune Solution® Organic Pumpkin Seed Protein Powder (with Superfoods!)
3/4 cup Stevia Extract Baking Blend sweetener (if preferred, use coconut sugar, regular sugar, or brown sugar)
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, allspice)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
1 large egg white
2 cups cinnamon chips
Optional topping choice: pumpkin seeds (pepitas), chocolate or white chocolate chips, or chopped almonds, cashews, pecans, or walnuts, etc.
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper (or spray sheet with cooking spray). Set aside.
- If using rolled oats, grind in a food processor or blender to a flour-like consistency.
- In a medium mixing bowl, mix dry ingredients.
- Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and stir in the wet ingredients. Then stir the entire mixture together until batter-like & sticky. Mixture will initially seem very dry; keep stirring. Note: Use a spoon to press the wet pumpkin mixture into the dry flour; it will become batter-like but sticky.
- Fold in cinnamon chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheet, using 1/8 cup (or 2 tablespoons) per cookie. Continue until all dough is scooped, yielding about 16 cookies. Note: The dough is very sticky; dampen your fingers and use them to flatten the dough slightly, as it won’t spread much.
- Optionally, press preferred topping (pepitas, chocolate chips, nut pieces, etc.) into each cookie before baking,
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until set.
- Remove the tray from the oven and let the cookies cool before eating.
